Was reading through my psych textbook this morning and came across this term: cognitive reappraisal. (I hope nobody google this word otherwise my blog will be in the search :/)Seems like someone is telling me to use this event as a challenge for future obstacles. Well, A's result today. Not satisfied. It's always the same words from teachers to me: Not up to standard. This applies to both O's and A's. I seriously can't do well for major exams. My grades are like.. "grades hanging in the air?" Neither here nor there. Nonetheless, i've talked to Mr Lim and he said Math and Econs major would be good for me. 'cause he said i'm a logical and rational thinker. LOL? I've never seen myself as those before. I shall still try that anyway! And, I really wanna thank my GP teacher, Mr RA. He's the awesome-st! Without him i guess i'll just totally flunk my GP. Well, my class got 2nd in the whole cohort \m/ But apparently we only cared about our individual results :( Aiya, my results just suck. period.

Sian to the very max. Went for the birdnest job interview this morning. Waited for 2hrs long. There are like 20 over applicants lah. Hello 2011. Brand new year!
Can't really be bothered to recap what i did in year 2010. What i could remember vividly is that i did the A's, met great teachers who left fabulous impression in me, friends who have gone through woes with me, family who is always there for me no matter what happens. I'm glad my friends are still my friends :D By the way I've got way too many new year resolutions. There's one that i'm determined to do so though. *crossfingers for success* To put it simply, i wish for things to move on smoothly. And all the best for future endeavours.

YEAH i've decided to change my blogskin to a simpler one. Currently watching 'secret garden' VERY slowly 'cause it's still air-ing in seoul. Can't find any job and i presume starhub doesn't want me since there isn't any call received from them. Wanting to put on braces but have not found any suitable day to do so. Have to take into consideration of the holiday trip in january (if there is) and the coming CNY since i will not be able to eat solid stuffs when braces are up for the first few weeks.

Its wIll run today! And i broke my record HOHOHO~ This year i ran 15KM within 105minutes. heh. Last year i ran only 12KM cause of my serious back pain which really slows down my pace tremendously. Came to school early in the morning today to exchange my shoes with nike for another brand new pair for try-out. Not quite bad a shoe with real thick cushioning which makes my running better i guess. The previous that i wore was totally worn out. Need to get a new pair soon!

Season's finally over for us. We did our best and i've enjoyed playing as a libero! Though there's no achievement in terms of the placing, but having the courage to actually compete against schools which have much volleyball capababilities than us, is much of an achievement and success to all of the srvballers. Noting the fact that we are all beginners. I don't deny that training wasn't that tough and tiring and that's why the result was minimal and there wasn't much of an expectation. Afterall, we enjoyed being as a team and at least i've gained new knowledges on a new sport. And now its time to focus on studies. Timetable has been tight all these while, having the need to juggle with my schoolwork, consultations, nationals, tuitions and night studies which ends at 9pm almost 4days a week. I'll only get to see sunrise and sunset in school. Sometimes coming out of the lecture theatre, only getting to see the moon. You wanna bet, being a jc student is just damn tiring.

Had friendly match this morning at 8am. Tired to the max. Had fun. After the match, washed up and went for chemistry lecture. Felt so uncomfortable during the lecture. Partly because i stink from the perspiration, mainly because we were going through the common test paper. Hate the feeling when you've to go through the answers without your own script with you. Trying hard to think back whether you did it correctly or wrongly. Anyhow, what's done cannot be undone. Studied for awhile afterthat and went back vball court to do some training. Zhiyong (sr) asked me what's my hobby and it took me quite some time to anwser him. That reply wasn't fantastic at all. Like seriously, i don't know. And i want to know. Perhaps stoning? lol.
Am feeling very uncomfortable without studying today. Didn't touch my books ever since i reached home. Been staring at the screens for long. Math and biology papers this morning-afternoon tire me out damnzxzxz alot. Math was a killer and we all knew beforehand and yet we still choose to place emphasis on math (obviously, 'cause its H2) and screwed up our biology paper. Friend even tried asking teacher whether they could skip the bio paper just 1hr before it. Teacher preferred them to sit in the hall and stone and try rather than skipping it. (weird isn't it) So they tried and even wrote econs essay during the exam. hahaha
Haa, i can't wait for class outing. Prolly ice-skating would be fun. But the guys want kbox. How weird can that be.

Common test's over. Like, finally. Need to give myself a break before the intense revision starts again. March "holidays" are here. Going back to school every single day. Apparently holidays are worst than school days lah. >:( Really need to sleep. Been sleeping for only 3-4hrs each day for the past week.

Yesterday after volleyball training went for literature night! Awesome! After months of renovation of the auditorium, the lightings are real cool now. Looks like some studio or disco party. Should take a picture of it during lecture. HAHA Enjoyed the performance much indeed. Afterwhich went home. I didn't know my school spent a million bucks on our tracks and the so-called 'fake' soccer field ('cause the grass were fake) till my gp teacher told us about it. WoW no wonder i love lying on the field \m/ but not running on the tracks. Well, today went jiahui's house to bai nian. Played blackjack and i won some money. heheheheh Went home in the late afternoon 'cause some of them have to go for bowling competition.

Currently feeling proud of srjc (: Once again, our cut off point has raised! From the past(science-arts) 19-20 to my batch of 17-17 and now its 15-16! Though it still can't be compared with those elite schools, the tremendous improvement makes a significant difference alright.

Tired, seriously.
Lectures are getting faster like bullet trains. They assumed that we will be able to understand at that pace. Thats the reason why i hated banding of lectures. Sometimes i did wonder and question myself, why did i ever choose this path. I guess its going to be the greatest barrier to overcome.

Had outdoor pe at pasir ris park today. Rather fun(: Had canoeing, pole challenge, blindfold and captains ball. Captains ball was different from usual cause the captain had to sit on 2 people's arm instead of the actual standing on chair. Thats what made the captains ball tougher. haha really tired after that. Tmr having pe in school again. School hours are getting longer.

Woke up at 6am today for ogl meeting in school. The feeling of waking up so early after so many of 'no morning' days is torturous. Did games trial and practiced the debriefing all those stuffs. The inefficient council gave us wrong info (like alot of times already) which scared us that we must be in school till 7pm. In fact, its only till 12noon lah. haiya. So decided to go back peicai with yiling. hees. Quite a drastic change from the previous peicai. Sports hall's really cool, just that the assembly plaza is rather small and the school system just gonna go haywire very soon, i assure. Afterwhich, went to nyp openhouse with suen's companion. The atmosphere there is kinda high and a blast. However, the four of us there seems not very entertained and we were like dozing off. After en's friends performance, we headed home.

My throat's heating up.
